The theorbo, a long-necked lute Baroque instrument rarely gets its due. No longer! Mallarme presents a concert featuring the impressive instrument featuring William Simms and Richard Stone on theorbo, David Wilson and Elizabeth Phelps on baroque violin, Suzanne Rousso on baroque viola and Gail Ann Schroeder and Brent Wissick on viola da gamba. Music of William Lawes, Dario Castello,Thomas Baltzar, Bellerofonte Castaldi and Robert de Visée.
