PROJECT MAP

Mallarmé is proud to announce the commencement of our newest educational initiative, Project MAP.

Project MAP is an after-school program that brings the arts to students at the Durham Nativity School. The program, developed by composer and NCCU professor, Dr. Marian Harrison, will bring teaching artists into the school to guide the students in creating works of art. Just as a travel map provides its reader with important directions to certain destinations, Project MAP is designed to be a guided tour through the creative processes that link three of fine arts most important entities, Music, Art and Poetry.

For more information about Project MAP please read our press release

Support for this project has been provided by the North Carolina Arts Council and the Triangle Community Foundation's Community Grantmaking Program.
