St Matthew’s Episcopal Church, a beautifully quaint church in charming Hillsborough, is the perfect venue for a program of early music from Great Britain. From the baroque to early classical eras, the evening’s concert, BRITISH BAROQUE-ISH, will include pieces by Handel, Henry Purcell, William Flackton and Andreas Lidel. Featuring the talents of Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba; Suzanne Rousso, viola; Stephanie Vial, cello; and Barbara Weiss, harpsichord. The final concert of the 2018/19 Season will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 7:30 pm. This program is presented in partnership with Asheville Baroque Concerts.
