CANCELLED: Family Concert: Bach and Forward

Mallarme and the Atlantic Dance Theatre brings together four acclaimed NC artists for this Family Concert: modern choreographer Michelle Pearson, baroque dancer and choreographer Paige Whitley-Bauguess, modern dancer Steven James Rodriguez Velez and cellist Stephanie Vial. The collaboration is set to movements from J.S. Bach’s iconic Cello Suites performed on the Baroque Cello. The artists will discuss their collaboration and the relationships they have rekindled between historical and modem forms, going back and forward where the art forms may lead … Bach and Forward.

The concert will be held at Duke Gardens in Kirby Horton Hall.

This program is one-hour long and appropriate for people 5 years and older. FREE admission
