N. Cameron Britt is a composer, percussionist and instrument builder from Raleigh, NC. His current preoccupation is the vibraphone, and using technology to make it do things it can’t naturally. To that end, he invented the EMvibe, a hybrid electronic/acoustic instrument that affords unprecedented control over the acoustic properties of the vibraphone. He was the recipient of a 2015-2016 Artist Fellowship from the NC Arts Council, which he used to create EMvibe 2.0. His music has been played by some awesome musicians and ensembles, some of which you may have heard of. He received his PhD in composition from Princeton University and has degrees from Northwestern University and University of South Carolina.
